Cameron’s Drilling Systems

Our Drilling segment is one of the leading global suppliers of integrated drilling systems for onshore and offshore applications. We are inventing the products and solutions for our customers that include shipyards, drilling contractors, exploration and production companies and rental tool companies. Equipment we design and manufacture include blow-out preventers (BOPs), control systems, drilling risers and valves, manifolds and other rig products, parts and services. Because of an increased focus on safety and tighter regulation, Drilling has seen an increase in customers wanting to re- certify BOP stacks or to replace aging equipment.

Job Summary Entry level position in inspection. Training to do dimensional/visual inspection, hardness testing, magnetic particle inspection, liquid penetrant inspection and material clearance with a mentor. Training to interpret SAP, Bill of Materials, Quality Plans, Weld Specifications, and Paint Specifications with a mentor. Working towards Cameron Inspection Certification. Must work safely.

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

​Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledgeable in computer software and SAP

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude

  • Forklift and Overhead Crane Experience

  • A minimum of 300 hours documented Inspection experience and/or a minimum of 2 months experience as a trainee under the supervision of a qualified inspector or machinist.
