Cameron’s Surface segment designs and manufactures complete wellhead and Christmas tree systems for onshore and offshore topside applications. One of the major services provided by the Surface segment is CAMSHALE™ Production Solutions, which specializes in shale gas production.
Candidate will be operating a Doosan HBM DC 110 / 110S with Fanuc controls related to machining and repair of company's NAM Frac equipment.
The CNC Machinist will be part of a rotating evening work shift schedule. The shift is 12 hours a day for 12 days straight. Every other weekend is off. 4 days off a month. Night Shift Position with OVERTIME and shift differential.
Will reports to Aftermarket Operations Manager and will take day to day instructions from the Machine Shop Lead Machinist
Run the CNC program, according to the operating instruction and technical specifications;
Perform the measurement and checking of the machined components, using measurement tools, according with requirements and technical specifications;
Load and handle the components in a safe way using the proper lifting/ transportation equipment;
Ensure the traceability of the machined components by filling in the required data in the machining list and by introducing in data in specific information system
Ensure that all the products meet the quality requirements and technical specifications;
Execute the periodically check of the tools, jigs and fixtures, ensure their preparing for the next work and perform the proper cleaning before to store them into the specific location;
Maintain in good working conditions both the CNC machine that work on and the tools, jigs, fixtures and equipment
Minimum Job Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Vocational trained machinist or extensive relevant CNC HBM or VTL experience can compensate for formal vocational education / training.
Minimum 1 years of experience with production machine tools with larger machining capabilities of API 6A equipment or equivalent.
Must be able to read and understand dimensional drawings.
Knowledge of how to dimension measure machined parts..
