Our Drilling segment is one of the leading global suppliers of integrated drilling systems for onshore and offshore applications. We are inventing the products and solutions for our customers that include shipyards, drilling contractors, exploration and production companies and rental tool companies. Equipment we design and manufacture include blow-out preventers (BOPs), control systems, drilling risers and valves, manifolds and other rig products, parts and services. Because of an increased focus on safety and tighter regulation, Drilling has seen an increase in customers wanting to re- certify BOP stacks or to replace aging equipment.
Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and analysis of monthly financial results, report reviewandpresentations for management review
Track orders, backlogs, sales & margins and provide analysis from different angles to serve asfinancialpartner in meeting continuous improvement and business targets
Support the Financial Controller inanalysisof ROFO forecast, budget, actuals and other specific business dynamics in Drilling Plant
Work closely with the Bucharest Finance Hub (BFH) and local operations in preparations of monthly business review
Participates in the month end accounting close process which includes cost center review andcoordinatewith BFH foraccruals / provisionJournal entries, perform financial analysis and balance sheet review.
Monitor and analyze Full Absorption Costing and variances and highlight to Operations in minimizing the variances
Work with Cost Center managers in understanding and managing their Cost Centre spending withspecialfocus on Direct, Indirect, Field Service, FAC Material and PPC functions
Involvemonthlyinventory cycle count and annual physical count.
Lead in the Annual Cost Roll process
Coordinate with BFH onclearingof aged open items in Account reconciliations, SOX compliance reporting, and key controls testing
Assist in the external and internal audit requirements
Assist in preparing anyad hocreports for Management and Corporate as required
Minimum Job Qualifications
Degree in Accounting/ ACCA with min 4 years of relevant experience in FP&A.
Background in an oilfield environment, especially within the drilling products sphere will be highly advantageous
Strong excel skills
Detailed and analytical personality.
Working knowledge of SAP and Hyperion for reporting purposes is a plus
Costing for manufacturing environment preferred
